GREAT NEWS FOR SHINKANSEN LOVERS
Soon the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) network will extend to Hokkaido.

Do you know that the Shinkansen will reach Hokkaido soon? The Hokkaido Shinkansen construction is underway with scheduled to open in March 2016. The Shinkansen will extend from Shin-Aomori Station to Shin-Hakodate Station first. H5 Series with a purple line on the cars' bodies symbolizing the lavender farms in Hokkaido will service from 2016 too!
